Whop has launched Economic Intelligence, a feature that surfaces the single highest-return move a business should make next and carries it out through the platform’s AI chat once the owner accepts it.

The technology company said the feature is the first offering of a wider intelligence layer built from anonymized data across the Whop network, where businesses in thousands of verticals run their storefront, ads, checkout and wallet from one dashboard.

Whop’s case for the launch is a data one. In the US, 65% of aspiring entrepreneurs use AI to launch a business and 46% of owners use it to run one, according to figures cited in the announcement. Most of those tools, the company said, draw on the same general training and hand every business the same generic advice. A model can suggest posting more consistently or running an ad campaign, but it has no view of what is producing revenue for comparable businesses in real time.

What Whop Means by Intelligence

Whop describes Economic Intelligence as an AI decisioning system, the accumulated knowledge of what successful businesses do at each stage of their growth, drawn from every vertical on the platform, from precious metals sellers to in-person dog trainers. The company keeps the agent in a separate role as the execution layer that Economic Intelligence guides. In its own words, models are commoditized now, and the value sits in the data that tells the agent which action is worth taking.

How Businesses Use It

Access runs through recommended actions. A “Recommended for you” module now sits beneath the balance on a Whop business’s homepage. Each card shows a projected value on hover, and an action history logs the returns from moves already taken.

Clicking a card sends it into Whop AI Chat, which asks only for the details it lacks, a product name, for instance, and then executes. Actions span website and funnel optimization through Whop Blueprints, product pricing changes, ad campaigns through Whop Ads aimed at high return on ad spend, abandoned cart recovery, churn reduction through automatic retargeting, and smaller tasks such as a recurring weekly direct message to a business’s best customers. New businesses get a different starting point, with Economic Intelligence recommending a business to build and generating the website for it.

Developers can also query Economic Intelligence through an API endpoint, which Whop positions as an extra for teams already building on the platform.

Beta Numbers

Whop reported approximate results from a sample of 14,905 businesses using Economic Intelligence for one month, compared with the month before. Combined sales grew 31.8%, unique paying customers grew 26.3%, and transactions grew 26.5%.

Whop also reported that the average time from clicking a recommended action to earning an incremental dollar fell 54%, to 12 hours, among the businesses where the feature is live.

Part of a Programmable Business Stack

The launch follows the Whop CLI, released in August, which opened the platform’s full API to business owners and the AI agents working for them. Whop said a partnership with SpaceXAI extends that access into Grok and Cursor. Economic Intelligence sits on top of those tools as the layer that decides which action to take.

Whop frames the stack as the first end-to-end API for running a business, covering money movement, customer acquisition and an on-demand workforce, in service of a stated mission to give everyone a sustainable income. Economic Intelligence is rolling out through the whop.com dashboard, where businesses can join the waitlist.
